A Boy Give His Lunch to Jesus

John 6:1-13

Buy the family size package of chicken nuggets or fish sticks. If you have over 25 kids make sure to purchase 3 bags. You can get this Kroger brand for under $20.

Gather the kids up and tell them the story about Jesus’ food miracle.

Jesus was a preacher. He taught people about the Kingdom of Heaven.

People loved to follow him and listen to what he had to say.

Jesus would teach and the people would gather around him like you are gathered around me.

Well, one day he was talking to about 5000 people and it was getting kind of late so Jesus’ disiples said, ” hey Jesus let’s send these people home so they can eat.”

but Jesus replied, “no, go and see if there is food among the crowd.”

And do you know what happened? A little boy (point to a little boy and say about your age) came forward gave his lunch to Jesus.

He gave him 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread.

Jesus prayed for the food. Let we will now.

(Pray of the nuggets with the kids.)

“Lord, thank you for this food. Bless it in nourishment of our bodies and help there to be plenty for everyone.”

Then Jesus handed out the food to all 5000 plus men,women and children. Wow! Does Jesus rock or what?

(Pass out all the nuggets. 4 each)
