Enjoying this day off. Happy third of July!

Did some reading, I’m enjoying Robinson Crusoe.

Cleaned up the house a bit.

Ordered a new rug for Penelope’s room. CAN’T WAIT! To get her room all decorated.

Input the new emails from our team and sent out a prayer letter.

Worked on canceling some utilities at our mission. One of our missionary families moved back closer to home.

Hello friends!

Worked on creating the prayer card for our family for 2015-16. In five months there will be a new member!

Briefed the team on how to love on people in stores. Then had our graduation ceremony where Dad gave them the Aaronic blessing and they committed to praying for their friends before singing the landing pad.

Put up all our gear for the weekend and helped clean the fellowship hall before heading out to check on the teams. Today’s their last day.

Dad and I got our cars washed and set up for tomorrow’s briefing on Buddhism, then checked on the teams.

Finishing the financial report to turn in tomorrow. Cutting checks to partners, inputting expense receipts, mailing letters.

We had a busy day today with 90 people in town!

Dad and I briefed the team on Judaism, Hinduism and Islam before heading to eat Indian at Calcutta Palate. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Then onto Global Mall while Dad went back to group the Carmel team.

Meadow brook headed to the missions so I took Silverdale to explore Al Madina, the Islamic book store. Abdul, the owner, is so kind to us. Even though they are fasting for Ramadan he put out hummus and baba ganoush for us to eat with pita bread.

Did lots of driving today getting the teams to each of their sites. WOW! Did they have a great time. Forest Vale had 50 kids show up!

Home now to work on creating invoices for t-shirts and finishing up the financial report for Whirlwind.

We got to see one of our favorite teams today from Meadow Brook BC in Alabama! Whirlwind really appreciates the generosity of their church in memory of Millie.

Hola! Dad and I talked to the teams about Catholicism. The area we work in Catholicism is a blend of folk religion and voodoo. A little different.

Dad taught us more about the Israelites and gave each person a special Hebrew blessing.

We passed the baton pledging to pray for our friends.

Plazaaaaa Fiestaaaa!!

Working on signing the renewal for the liability insurance, writing thank you notes to supporters.

Dad and I also spoke with Calcutta Palate about brining our team there on Monday.

Dad and I briefed the team on Islam, Christianity and Judaism before taking the team over to Al Madina and then Global Mall.

The Beaver Creek peeps and I enjoyed eating over at Ashianas.

Dad and I went and picked up t-shirts for the Rocky Bayou team and then went to the Post Office to get it shipped to them so they can wear them on Sunday.

Dad and Drew Grubbs had a driving meeting as I sat in the back figuring out logistics for the team coming this weekend.

Went and talked to the four managers at Foxwood, Legacy North, McElroy Manor and Town and Country about the Perimeter team serving there in July.

About to write my newsletter, finish uploading pictures and place another t-shirt order for my Beaver Creek team.

Had fun last night with the family for baby Kendall’s gender reveal party! It’s a girl!!

Today we briefed the team on Hinduism and Buddhism. Then we explored Asian Square.

Briefed the team on Catholicism today. The Catholics we work with have blended their folk religion and voodoo into the Catholic faith. There’s some eyebrow raising things…

Talked to the managers about the teams coming next week. We have another seventy in town!

Enjoyed meeting Traci “super” powers from Clarion Inn. She’s in charge of Sales and Marketing. She’s going to be able to help us get a better deal for all the teams we have staying there.

At the doctors office now. He’s running about an hour late. Glad to have my computer so I can get some work done.

We talked to the team about Buddhism today and then explored CD Tower where the buddhist buy their idols, next to Hong Kong bakery. Dang! Those coconut buns are good! Next we saw the Vietnamese Pharmacy.

Never seen this before. Sea Dog Pills. Great for reducing night urination…

HOLAAAA!

We welcomed the Rocky Bayou church to the International Village today.

They are awesome and enjoyed our presentation.

Then on to the Farmer’s market for some tastes from around the world.

Got them onsite and loving on the community.

Dad went over to help our big Chi Alpha Choir team from Liberty BC set up their equipment at Plaza Fiesta. What a blessing to be invited to sing praises there!

I went and briefed the team. WOO! I LOVE the big teams. I get SO fired up. I had all 150 of them dancing around the sanctuary singing MY Saviors Gone to Prepare me a Place!

They did AWESOME at Plaza Fiesta. Many people enjoyed the blessing.

Cooking steaks with Milo. He got the cutest little highchair today. I put it at the table. Soon a little one with fill it. 7 days until the big reveal!

Called Nana, working on cutting some dates to fly out to Texas to love on them before the baby gets here. She told me she’s trying to talk Babu into coming here for Christmas!

Hello Friends!

Today was Clinch River BC’s Last day. We briefed them on how to love on people at the Farmer’s Market then enjoyed exploring and tasting samples from around the world. Kissing the frozen goat head, a Whirlwind Mission Tradition.

Had lunch together before they had to head back home to Tennessee.

Deposited donations into WWM account before heading home.

Cleaned the house up and did laundry.

Looking forward to seeing Jurassic World tonight.

Sent letters out to supporters this morning.

Briefed the team about Catholicism and then took them over to Plaza Fiesta!

Missions. It’s the FBC Jonesboro peeps’ last day. They will be thoroughly missed by the mission kids.

Briefed the team on Islam and Hinduism.

Then over to Global Mall. We enjoyed lunch there before seeing the Hindu temple.

Got to see my friend, Russia at Al Madina. Baby K got first taste of Baklava. Yum!

On to missions!

I’m whipped so Dad stayed to help the team set up to sing at Plaza Fiesta. Please pray for them.

Yay! The Clinch River team joined us today. Dad and I briefed them on Buddhism and then explored Asian Square.

There we saw the CD Tower, where the Buddhist buy their idols, the Chinese bakery and the Vietnamese Pharmacy.

Then enjoyed a Malaysian lunch at Penang!

Off to missions! I got the Clinch River team started and Dad helped the Greyhound bus navigate the city.

We had six kids get saved today!

Dad and I went and spoke to Plaza Fiesta and Buford Highway Farmer’s Market about allowing the church choir to come sing. We got approved. Praise the LORD!

Sang at the Farmer’s market tonight. Many people came up and said they were thankful we were there, one Buddhist woman stopped and cried and prayed with the pastor.

Hello you beauties!

WOO! Just finished a 13 hour mission shift! WORTH IT!

Milo and I went to the doctor for my blood test for baby Kendall. Another NT test.

Then I Meet Dad over at First Baptist Doraville to brief the FBC Jonesboro team! SUCH an awesome team!

Enjoyed the Farmer’s Market and lunch there.

Then Missions!! 

Dad helped the big bus navigate around.

They also performed this evening. The families seemed to really like it.

Took my car over to T&G to get it’s oil changed. The brakes have been squeaking but it turned out to be nothing.

Updated the Team Assignment page with a new team.

Checked on the Chinese team at Azalea.

Picked up mail at the church. Deposited support into WWM Bank. PTL!

Worked on administration work for Whirlwind this morning. That included answering logistics emails for a big charter bus team we have coming in.

Input donations.

Worked on the expense report.

Mailed letters and support checks to partners.

Dad called Comcast today to square away the internet at the mission.

We went by the apartments for next week’s team. Then up to Sandy Spring to visit the Fountain City Team and ACCCN.

Last night’s storm clouds were amazing!

Enjoying a new Bible Study this morning, Ester by Beth Moore. A book in the Bible that never mentions God’s name.

Submitted our prayer requests to First Baptist Atlanta.

Enjoying making calls on my new retro pink phone. Talked to Premium Assignment about out liability insurance and called Julie Cook at FBC Jonesboro.

First week of the summer teams! Our Sandy Springs team is at a new location that’s never had a team before. Many people there may have never heard about Jesus!

Admin duties now which include answering team emails, uploading photos, inputting donations and expenses.

Enjoyed watching Milo play softball with the other dads last night. He played for Twain’s Decatur league.

Throughly cleaned the house today. Deep cleaned the stairs, baseboards and windows. I think my nesting instinct is kicking in.

Wrote Thank you letters to supporters and made phone calls to team leaders.

Worked on calling and emailing potential teams. Hopefully some of them will lead to teams serving with us!

Called about the status of my contacts. Should be ready tomorrow.

Worked on the Donation report and Financial report in Quickbooks for Whirlwind. I’m working on reconciling two years worth of expense. It’s like spaghetti but slowly it’s getting in order!

Prayer request sent to NAMB.

Talked to my healthcare provider and got a lot of questions answered about labor and delivery and out of pocket expenses.

Also got a free breast pump ordered.

Enjoyed lunch with Ash.
