SO fun to have my high school friend, Hannah and her fiancé, Eric, come down for a visit. We enjoyed watching the game with friends on Saturday and celebrating at the wedding shower this evening.

Picked up groceries for the week and did laundry.

Also signed the lease for the new house! Excited to have more space but still be in a great location.

Made lots of phone calls today.

Working on helping set up a website for my friend.

Figured out the Healthcare plan and worked on getting a contact for our HSA. This is where Moogley sits when I work.

I like this new calendar Dad got me.

Did laundry.

Got our new prayer cards.

Helped the kids at the mission.

Printing out more promos to encourage churches from the surrounding states to come on missions.

Put some of the financial report together.

Miles and I enjoyed celebrating our two year anniversary with oysters!

Mailed off promos.

Ran some errands today. Went to the bank and then to drop off the financial report at Jon Paul’s house.

Then to the fun part. Horse riding with Anna. My horses name is Wink.

Last week I was sick so now I’m feeling much better! Enjoyed meeting Ashley’s new boyfriend and then eating Pecan pie with the girls on Saturday night.

Enjoyed listening to Carl preach Sunday morning. Dad and I spoke to the Sunday School class.

Also created and mailed the 2014 calendars to supporters.

Worked on learning Quickbooks this morning.

Also took the rent over for this month.

Started on the Surrounding States Promo packets.

Tried to figure out my new health care plan. Still haven’t gotten a straight answer yet.

Finished the financial report.

Car battery keeps dying so I took it over to T&G.

Miles and I celebrate our two year anniversary tomorrow. We’re cooking spaghetti tonight.

Hello! 

Had a wonderful time riding with my new friend Anna Dickson. Looking forward to a long partnership.

Then went to Auto Zone to get my headlight fixed. 

Then dropped the Corolla off at the dealer to get the check engine light fixed. Ended up it was a simple fuel cap issue. 

Went to Office Depot to get more envelopes and supplies for the Surrounding States Promo. 

Dinner and a movie with Miles before driving up to Woodstock to pick up the T-shirt Van. Miles and I are printing shirts at a soccer tournament early tomorrow morning.

Dad and I took the team to Plaza Fiesta.

Then back to the Farmer’s Market before helping the kids with homework.

Dad and I took the team to Clarkston to visit around with our refuge friends there.

Then we had a great lunch at Ashianas Indian before going to the Hindu temple.

We briefed the team on Buddhism this morning. Then went over to see the ladies in the ESL class. They sang a sweet greeting song.

Over to CD Tower and the Chinese pharmacy.

Lunch and then to clean at the mission. We’re giving Azalea a total makeover. Jesse’s room got painted, and we got new curtains for the rooms.

Kristen and I had a great time driving up to Nashville to see Hannah. She’s getting married in April.

Enjoyed touring my Texas friends around the International Village. We went to the farmer’s market, then helped clean the mission.

Great to have lots of help with the kids.

We had our board meeting tonight. Fun to get together with great people.

I enjoyed English class with the ladies today.

Got gas. Can’t beat this price!

Bought stamps.

Then a prebirthday lunch with Mama. Then home to write letters and emails to supporters and potential supporters.

Answered some comments on the Brookwood Ranch website.

Also called Anna Dickson about riding lessons. Sounds like a really fun lead!

Filled in some of the financial report.

Worked on getting Jesse’s HSA contribution transferred.

Had a great time and a surprise birthday with the mission kids.

Today’s the last day I’m 24.

Hello! Dad and I enjoyed spending time with the students from The Sharon School.

We explored CD Tower and then the Buford Highway Farmer’s Market.

Went to Lowe’s for spray paint and drywall screws.

Worked on calling churches I sent the promo packets too. Left messages with most of them. A few have responded so far.

Wrote letters to supporters.

Gased up for the first time in the Corolla. I got almost 400 miles!

English classes went really well today. Today we learned the shapes. I learned tara is Bengali for star.

Enjoyed working with the kids. Dad’s great with them.

Designed a trial prayer card.

Wrote my newsletter today. Then went and picked them up from Atlanta Metro Baptist Association.

Talked with team leader Mike Timms from North Cobb Christian School.

Filled out the team assignment page. Then updated my Go Daddy website information.

Chopped up veggies for the pot roast tonight, served with a side of Au gratin potatoes.

Then we went hunting for Halloween costumes. Anna is going as Marie Antoinette and I’ll still deciding. I may be the plague doctor.

Hello! I’ve got great news! After 2 months of searching…..

I’ve finally bought a car! A 2005 Toyota Corolla. I even came in under my budget so I’m happy about that.

Enjoyed teaching English today and learning some Spanish and Bengali.

Had lunch with Mo. Then onto the Post Office to mail our 25 Largest Churches promo packet.

Reused the wax from an old candle to make a new one!

Cleaned and organized the cabinets.

Got some things together for my yard sale. Like my signs?

Lynsie and I had a fun night at Country Music Fair!

Working on Mo’s HSA with BofA now and then calling Geico.

Ran with Moogie! We have fun. It’s sort of like EXTREME! running with her, she loves to go fast.

Then worked on the financial report and drove that over to our treasure’s house.

On Saturday we celebrated Roxy and Justin getting married! Congratulations!

Dad and I had a GREAT time with the Moultrie peeps. They’re so awesome.

Had a fun weekend hanging out with Jessica’s Mom, Julie. She’s here helping her aunt find a new home.

Enjoyed speaking with the Smokerise BC ladies group.

I’m in the Mission Mosaic!

Took the Jeep to the mechanic. It failed. Boo. :( On the hunt again for a vehicle. I’m leaning towards the Toyota Rav4 and Four runner and the Dodge Nitro.

Talked to David Lowe and Andrew Johnson, encouraging them to bring their churches on missions.

Printed out the flyers for the largest churches packet.

Created the CD labels too.

Took Moogs for a walk. Sold the scooter!

Enjoyed working with the kids.

Hola!

We had a great day with the ladies at ESL Class this morning. We still had to round up the ladies for about an hour, but I enjoy going to their homes. They invite us in to cook and eat.

We had four students which proved to be just enough. I loved joking around with the moms and practicing my Spanish. It seemed to make them more comfortable listening to me make mistakes when they did in English as well.

Jesse and I enjoyed lunch together then I came home to work on the financial report and write letters.

Really busy day at the mission. Dad helped the 5th graders with a cell project and I worked with the others.

Tired and glad to be home.

This morning I enjoyed prayer walking with the ESL teachers, Deanie, Margarete and Penny from First Baptist Atlanta. We’re starting english classes on Tuesday mornings.

The ladies with Rashawn’s mom, Rashida.

After hours of research and twelve test drives later I think I’ve found a new ride. A 2006 Jeep Liberty with under 115k miles! She’s a beauty. Getting her looked at by the mechanics tomorrow.

Went out and test drove the Jeep Liberty and Jeep Compass. The Liberty has been my favorite out of the 11 cars I’ve test driven.
