Enjoyed our team from Oakwood Christian Academy today! We briefed them on how to round up the chilling, and what Hinduism and Islamic people believe.

Then off to Al Madina and then Global Mall.

Missions with the kids went really well. They did a great job telling the story of Easter and Mordaci. I can always did a female heroine!

Julia did my nails!

Visited Mahiya. She got into some poison ivy really bad. Had to go to the emergency room. We took her some meds and popsicles.

Went to the dentist this morning. The Doctor said that it’s important for pregnant women to floss and get regular check ups because any plaque swallowed goes straight to the baby.

Hello mon amie!

Wrote letters to the girls. Ran out of envelopes so I made my own. I think they turned out really cute.

Moogie and I went for a run this morning and did some pushups! Stayin’ healthy for Baby K!

Great lunch with David Tate at Sabor Do Brazil. Baby likes Brazilian!

Toured around the Square before the mission with the kids. Worked on a South East Asia report with Aylin. I learned that most barbers in Cambodia close on Wednesday because they think it’s bad luck to cut hair on that day of the week.

Home now to cook tacos with Milo! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Enjoyed a beach vacation to Savannah with the girls!

Meet up with Jeff, Ed and Nick from Liberty BC. We took them around the Village. Showed them where they’re going to perform and then took them to Plaza Fiesta.

Went to the bank and Post Office for Whirlwind.

Cleaned the mission and helped Adriana and Dicey with their homework.

Well hello there!

Worked about three hours this morning with Joan, learning more about how to run quickbooks for Whirlwind. Slowly I’m understanding more and more about accounting. Pray for me.

Dad and I folded newsletters and popped them in the mail.

Mailed a package the awesome Girard family!

Milo and I invested in a Turkish rug. A new family heirloom. Now we just have to keep the dog from peeing on it.

Grilling out steaks with Milo. Hopefully Moogie won’t jump on the counter and get herself a piece.

Meet Milo for lunch today since I’ll be out of town this weekend. We went and looked at the bike shop. He’s been really enjoying mountain biking lately.

Taught English class today.

No homework with the kids so I’m home now to prepare for the Quickbooks meeting tomorrow.

Dad and I enjoyed lunch with Julie Cook from FBC Jonesboro. We discussed logistics of the trip and squared away dinner at the church.

Hello friends!

I’m on day four at the missions conference in Carrollton, GA. We’ve had a great time getting to know the other missionaries and church family. We had fun at a pig pickin’ BBQ with hay ride and square dancing.

Looking forward to the big Sunday celebration tomorrow.

Worked on my newsletter today and updated Mailchimp with new subscribers.

Made some phone calls to potential teams!

Hiked almost four miles with Moogie around the mountain.

She was pooped afterwards.

Meet up with Dad and we talked to the managers about the Block Party this Saturday with One Heart Church.

Packed my car full of goodies for the missions conference I’ll be at this week up in Carrolton, GA.

Great news! Miles and I are having a baby! Due in late November. Mo went with me to the Ultrasound. Look at that little beauty. It’s a missionary in the making.

Worked on the itinerary of a team in June and July.

Set up an appointment with Joan at Quickbooks to help me learn a few more things.

Missions with the kids! Jesse was showing them his new robot, Alexa, who answers questions. Pretty cool!

Got groceries today. Cooked lunch, did laundry, cleaned the house.

Answered admin emails before meeting Dad at FBCD. We went over to the Doraville City center to talk to Rip about using the showers and the exact dates.

Put a hide a key on my car! Now I won’t get locked out. Thanks, Papi!

I meet up with Mo and Dad and talked about lodging for our June teams. Dad went and talked to the city of Doraville about using their showers. They said yes! That’s a big help for us!

Worked on inputing donations and finances for Whirlwind. Inquired with a Quickbooks specialist about helping me learn a few more things.

Sent out emails to promote our Spring Block Party this Saturday, April 19th at 12:30. Eight people responded so far.

Updated MailChip with new peeps who asked to be on the mailing list.

Updated my NAMB website and donations page. It was exciting to see I’ve raised $17,000 for Whirlwind this year! Thank you for all your support to my family’s ministry. We can’t do it without YOU!

Moogie broke her collar trying to chase after a squirrel. I bought her a new one that will be embroidered with her name on it. Only $15 bucks! SUH WEET!

Created new thank you cards and mailed them out to supporters. YOU keep us going! And we love YOU!

Enjoyed writing letters to our supporters this morning. I always think it’s fun to get something special in the mail.

Talked to Jimmy Kim from Perimeter about Goldrush. We’re hoping to mobilize at least 100 people hopefully more! Please be praying for that!

Miles applied for an environmental job in Marietta. This could be a great career move for him. Please pray the Father opens up this door of opportunity for him.

Mama Kendall invited me to get my nails done with her and Izzy. Then we enjoyed lunch together!

Came home and added more supporters to our mail chimp list. Sent out an Easter campaign to our friends.

Paid utility bill for mission.

Wrote Thank you letters to supporters.

Updated Whirlwind Quickbooks account and edited the Payroll Journal.

Had a great time babysitting Izzy yesterday. We went to the park, played softball, had a picnic and watched a movie before making our own clay beads for her charm bracelet.

This morning I ate lunch with Mama K and Izzy.

Then checked the mail and did banking for Whirlwind.

Made a phone call about the missions conference I’m going to next week.

Surprised Milo with Braves tickets for opening game at Turner field tomorrow.

Headed to a zoo gig with Milo. Today was Darryl’s last day at the zoo before going to the Naples Zoo in Florida.

Worked on Brookwoodranch.com’s horse website this morning. Updated the Summer schedule.

Had a great time with the 120 students from Dunwoody BC and Wade BC from Mississippi.

Dad and I briefed them and then took them to the farmer’s market.

The Wade BC team sang and then toured.

Always something weird to see.

Then onto missions! I rode with the big bus.

Then they all preformed again at Highland Knoll.

Picked up shirts yesterday from Purefun!

Wrote my newsletter this morning before meeting up with Dad.

Mail Chimped the newsletters.

Picked them up this evening.

We were going to go talk to managers about the block parties this weekend so I had lots of people praying for us. While we were at lunch Dad ran into the owner of the SABRA properties. It was a Jesus thing for sure!

We went and got the supplies for the parties on Saturday!

Went and talked to managers. We’re going to be at eleven apartments simultaneously.

Enjoyed reading and lunching with Milo this morning before his eye appointment.

Signed up another 40 people to work with us this weekend! Yeah, baby!

Ordered more Whirlwind Tshirts.

ESL with Adita. We studied the ph and gh sounds. She just found out she’s having a baby girl!

Milo came with us to the mission! The kids always love him. Especially Darlene and Jocelyn. They have their own special handshake.

Great Korean dinner at Han iL Kwan off Buford Highway. The marinated ribs were AWESOME! Then followed up with some Filipino purple yam ice-cream.

Mama and I drove out to Roopville Road BC in Carrolton to speak with Dad! He did AWESOME as always!

Went and got groceries for the week. Looking forward to the Mexican corn and taco night! Thank you Father for a full fridge!

Had to reschedule my Doctor appointment since my Doctor wasn’t there today. Stopped by to see Ashley! Haven’t seen her for about a month!

Did some banking for Whirlwind! Thank you SO much for our supporters. We can’t stay on the mission field without you!

Missions with the kids! We wrote stories today with our spelling words and did math problems.

Stopped by Office Depot to pick up laminates for our team pictures.

We had a briefing and then prayer walked the farmer’s market.

Had a great time at the mission with the kids. I think I played tag for an hour.

College teams are always some of our favorites!

We had Midway Macedonia’s peeps from the University of West Georgia join us today.

We pulled out all the stops!

We briefed them on the Farmer’s Market, Asian Square and Plaza Fiesta before going to Penang for lunch. What an awesome group!

Dad and I had a wonderful meeting with Erin from Grace Fellowship. We explored Plaza Fiesta, CD Tower and the Farmer’s Market.

Then onto the mission! Great to have Maran’s husband, Wade come and help!
