Test Driving Cars

Hello!

Dad and I worked on the WWM Promo this morning.

I called a teacher from Strong Rock. We’re setting up a time for them to come on missions.

After doing hours of research, I went to a couple of dealerships to test drive some cars.

Three of the five had already been sold. I drove the Mazda6 and the Mini Cooper hardtop. Not completely satisfied with either choice. I’m going to Snellville to look at cars tomorrow.

Global Mall, AZ, and AT&T

Hello,

Cleaned the home today and did laundry.

Updated the comments from the summer teams on our teamwhirlwind.com site.

Posted an ad on Craigslist for the scooter. Miles and I haven’t used it as much as we thought we would. Hopefully we’ll get a buyer.

Finished the Financial Report.

Went to Global Mall to pick up some Indian snacks and gifts for my Tennessee friends the Alfords. She’s going to be teaching her Sunday School class about India.

My phone stopped charging. So I went to AT&T to get a replacement. Only cost $200 since Mo was eligible for an upgrade. That’s good news. I won’t have a phone until Friday though…

Had a good time with the kids. We’re learning about the Solar System and Proteins.

RIP Little Red Pony and Azalea

Hello!

Moogley and I went for a great walk this morning.

I painted my toes.

Wrote my newsletter.

Hung a tarp to act as a covering for our scooter, bikes and grill.

Said goodbye to the Little Red Pony.

Had a great time with the kids today. Fun to work with them again.

Luiz and I were working on Social Studies. We were learning about the religions in Eastern Europe. I asked him if he was Catholic. He shook his head and said, “No. I’m Guatemalan.”

I laughed and said, ” Religion. It’s what you believe in.”

He blushed and said,” I believe in Jesus.”

Block Party and the Wreck

Hello!

Dad and I had fun with the McDonough peeps this morning. We encouraged them to get a team together and then we went on tour.

The Foothills team did a fantastic job hosting a block party at Azalea.

On the way home I got into a wreck.

There was a nail in my tire that caused a leak. When I applied the brakes going around the curve there wasn’t any balance. This caused my car to fishtail and slam into the guard rail. I’m fine but my cars not.

Please pray this all works out for the best.

Hello!

Took an interesting Health workshop today.

We also got our brains scanned. I have very high energy. Knew that!

Had fun blowing bubbles on Rockbridge road.

Wrote letters to supporters.

Looking forward to the team now.

Farmer’s Market, Asian Square and Fun with the Kendalls

Hello there!

Dad and I talked with the Clements team today about Buddhism.

I liked Dad’s singing at the beginning. Then we all danced around the sanctuary praising the Lord.

On to the tours!

Then Missions!

Great to have my sweet husband along.

When Miles and I got home there were three refugee boys in our driveway picking out stones for their slingshots. We walked over to them and started making friends. I made them some balloon swords and Miles brought Moogs out.

Miles walked Moogs around the house and the boys followed saying, ” We’re hungry. I’m hungry.” When they got to Milo’s grill they asked if he knew how to cook. Miles talked about grilling out. They asked, ” Do you know how to cook bird?” Miles answered, ” Of course! I grill out chicken.” With that the older  boy pulled two dead birds from his pouch. ” I just hunted this, can you cook it?”

Had fun with Milo’s parents and sweet lil Isabella!

They crack me up!
